Polenta pasticciata

Slices of toasted maize porridge

Make Polenta and let it cool down. Cut it in slices of 1 cm thickness and bake it in the oven at 220°C with ventilation for around 20 min. Add cheese, a mushroom sauce or a meat sauce and bake it 5 min more without ventilation.
