The sweet wine, in Italian called Vin Santo, literally Holy Wine, comes from Azienda Agricola Pravis. In this winery, located in the village of Lasino, Giulia and her family combine tradition with curiosity and innovation to make wine as naturally as possible. For this wine the grapes Nosiola are first dried on special lattices called Arèle, then pressed during the week of Easter, slowly fermented and aged in barrels of durmast oak wood. The result is a joyful wine, mediterranean despite the fact that it was crafted in the mountains.

The unique sour cherry jam, containing whole pieces of fruit, is crafted by Apulia - La finestra sul mare, a firm run by Antonella, her husband and her sister. From Monopoli, a town by the sea, they love to offer services that enable people to discover and enjoy the history, culture and flavours of Puglia. Thanks to them we discovered also Panificio l’Assunta, the bakery in Monopoli that makes these traditional crunchy almond cookies with coffee and cacao.

Finally, the chocolates with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena come from Acetaia La Tradizione, a cooperative of craftsmen united by the passion for traditional processes handed down from generation to generation. The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena was produced for centuries only for noble families, because incredibly precious and costly. Nowadays it remains priceless, because it is produced only from cooked grape must from a very small region, with a very slow process involving very small volumes. In this speciality, a few drops of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar are enclosed is a layer of chocolate, giving rise to a symphony of flavours at every bite.

  • Tips & Ideas to enjoy the products

Open Vin Santo, pour it in a nice glass and... enjoy! Just remember to place Vin Santo in the fridge for some hours before you drink it - it is best enjoyed cold! Also the cookies and the chocolates are ready to be enjoyed, while the jam can be spread on bread, pancakes or waffles. If you feel like preparing the typical pancakes from Trentino, take a look at the recipe Fortaie alla Bruna that we suggest in the section Recipes.
